Simple tips for happy flowers.
Taking care of your flowers is easier than you think. Here are a few quick tips to help them bloom beautifully.
Diagonal Cut
Cut stems at an angle (about 2 cm) with a sharp knife or scissors. Remove all leaves below the waterline.
Add Flower Food
Dissolve the included sachet in your vase water. It provides nutrients and prevents bacterial growth.
Fresh Cold Water
Fill your clean vase with cold water. Replace every 2–3 days and re-trim stems for maximum vase life.
Keep your flowers away from fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which accelerates wilting. Also avoid placing them in direct sunlight or near heat sources like radiators.

MIMEA, Swahili for "plant", started with a simple idea: bringing the freshest herbs and plants from the East African highlands directly to Scandinavia, cutting out the middlemen and working hand in hand with certified farms in Kenya.

As a young startup, we leaned into automation early, with AI as an integral part of the team. Our aim is to keep manual work to a minimum. Today our small team handles a very large workload, from order intake to invoice checking, fast, precise and with real joy in getting things done.
